I am formally trained and hold a certificate of training in Laser Hair Removal. My commitment extends to prioritizing customer care, putting clients at ease through comprehensive education about the services I provide. ABOUT THE LASER: I utilize the new FDA approved Torno Advanced Triple Wavelength Diode Laser. This cutting-edge machine combines three wavelengths, delivering enhanced benefits in a significantly reduced timeframe. The Diode Laser has deep penetration capabilities, effectively targeting even the most coarse or stubborn hairs. Its superior melanin absorption makes it a safe hair removal method suitable for all skin and hair types across various body areas. Additionally, the Diode Laser incorporates advanced cooling technology to ensure a cool and comfortable treatment experience for your skin. TIME FRAME: Contrary to the notion of a single treatment yielding permanent results, the laser operates during the Anagen phase, where only approximately 15% of hairs are present. The treated hairs will naturally fall out or shed within 5-14 days post-treatment. Multiple sessions are required due to the distinct growth cycles of each treated area, with treatments scheduled every 4-6 weeks apart. As for the question of is laser hair removal permanent? The answer is, permanent hair reduction is absolutely possible!! The process involves the destruction of the hair follicle, ensuring a lasting solution. Before A Visit: A Few Things You Need To Know Before Coming In For Laser Hair Removal. * No tweezing, waxing or depilatory creams for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment. * I do not treat pregnant women. *The day of your treatment, please do not apply any type of creams, lotions, or deodorant to the area that is going to be treated. If you do apply any, I will use an astringent to clean the area prior to treatment. *Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds and artificial tanning for 7 days prior to your treatment. This is to help minimize the risk for side effects because tanned skin is more prone to complications and ineffective laser treatment. * I cannot treat you if you are currently using the medication Accutane or Antibiotics. These medications have the tendency to increase your Photosensitivity. Please discontinue seven days prior to your treatment. After A Visit: A Few Things You Should Know After A Laser Hair Removal Treatment: *The hair has been destroyed during the laser hair removal treatment, hair will fall out or shed 5 to 14 days post laser hair removal. It may appear to be thicker and darker then usual just before it falls out or sheds. Don’t panic! * Do not apply any product that contains alcohol for 24 hours post treatment. Use aloe post treatment. *Do not tan for seven days post treatment. *Always use sunscreen. *Do not take a hot shower, hot bath, sit in a hot tub or sauna post treatment for 24 hours . *Avoid exercise for 24 hours. My goal is provide quality care in a timely manner. In order to do so, I’ve had to implement an appointment/cancellation policy. Appointments are currently in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the opportunity to have to timely care.
Time has been specifically reserved for your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule please do so within 24 hours or you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. I am happy to answer any questions regarding this cancellation policy.
